These rigid sensors have a stainless steel welded closed end sheath. The Pt100 sensing element is 10mm long and is placed at the tip of the sheath which means that the minimum immersion depth should be at least 50mm. The sensor is rated up to 350ºC. A 4-20mA transmitter ranged either -25°C to 100°C, 0°C to 200°C or 0°C to 350°C is incorporated into the head, so that you may extend the sensor with standard 2 wire copper instrument cable within your loop system. The standard head is weatherproof to IP67. The sensor is rated up to 350ºC. Ideal where quick disconnection is required near to the sensor.
